Den zehnten Platz des europäischen Dreck-Rankings besetzt Deutschland: 564 Kilo Müll fallen pro Bürger an, allerdings recyclen die Deutschen 46 Prozent und kompostieren 18 Prozent. Sie sind damit recht vorbildlich, denn das sind zusammen 64 Prozent des Abfalls.
